Key features of the "I-Chat" newest chatbot based survey mechanism

  • It is a chatbot, so everyone who starts the survey will have to complete it, and cannot skip the question. Very short links can be shared through WhatsApp and QR codes.
  • The chatbot ensures that user does not feel burdened as only one question is visible at one time and is visually satisfactory and appealing because of one question at a time.
  • The Questions can be customized from texts, audio, JPEG pictures and GIF files.
  • It is a multilingual and interactive chatbot in all the available languages.
  • It has a mechanism of collecting personal data at the end of the survey, therefore every respondent is not forced to key in his/her personal details beforehand and can share his opinions without sharing contact. That ensures data privacy and avoids intrusion.
  • The back-end data capturing mechanism developed in such a manner, that even if the respondent has answered fewer questions, the data is captured question wise, therefore, in this way we can also work on the dimensions of the survey tool etc. and there is no need of submitting the survey at the end.
  • Closed-ended questionnaires (Forms) can be generated. Range of questions can vary from 1 to 30.
  • Generate Data and exhibit in the Dashboard, prepare Analytical reports, undertake data analysis for data Informed action, Reporting and Visualization.
  • Can end with a customized message note, outcome or a focused risk communication or behavioral message.
  • The questionnaire be rolled out through WhatsApp / Email through any form of link sharing mechanism.
Eg. Sample Survey Link https://innovoidea.in/covidselftest/punjab/ or Short Web link bit.ly/2Xq0nci or via QR CODE
  • Easy for attaining a 95% confidence measure, which would depend on three factors – sample size, percentage and population. This helps to give you an accurate percentage and represents the true profile of the population which lies within the target sample. The confidence measure reflects certainity in the data.

Shortcomings of traditional survey methods like survey monkey, google forms, static website survey etc.

  • Traditional forms are detailed, lengthy and usually not mobile friendly.
  • Tick box or dot click based selection.
  • Compulsorily Submit button needs to be pressed for data generation.
  • No intermediate data capture mechanism.
  • Less interesting so if no submission happens, effort is lost.
  • Not adaptive to various and multiple languages at once, with language selection and translation option.
  • Not interactive and not friendly for images, GIF, and audio clips as survey items.
  • No classification of response and messages at end – usually ends by Thanks you – Survey submitted.
  • Geo-location and other details not usually captured.

How to generate reports -

The same way we make the survey, we can easily use the same dashboard to obtain data of a particular survey you can export the analytic results in form of pie and bar charts, XL tables with data fields as predefined, Geo-location and Other details if asked and can also export it in form of XL sheets, JPEG files and PDF files and then customize it any way you want to generate a detailed report. The fun part is it’s easy to use and anyone can do it.
